Lola Cook, our reliable number 3 for Dunstable Town Women, is a straightforward defender who thrives in one-on-one situations, utilizing her speed and strength alongside exceptional timing. Having captained a successful youth team to both league and cup victories, she has also spent time at a Football League academy. Despite her youth, she plays a crucial role among the football team players and has an incredibly promising future ahead of her. Lola is sponsored by KR Academy and also S.HARTLEY BUILDING LIMITED.

Hayley is currently in her second year of playing adult football with Dunstable Town Women and has shown remarkable progress. Having captained teams at various youth levels, she has now established herself as a key player in the leadership group of the women's football squad. As a young athlete, Hayley embodies drive and determination, consistently demonstrating her commitment by giving her all on the pitch. With her ambition and talent, she has a promising future ahead of her in the sport.

Shannon Cullen, our Tony Adams, is a formidable central defender known for her powerful aerial ability. She began her football journey at the age of 9 with Stopsley United boys, where she played for two seasons. After that, she joined the AFC Dunstable boys' U12s for one season before making the transition to the girls' side of AFC Dunstable, competing in the women's football squad from U14 to U18. During this time, she also played for the AFC Dunstable women’s development team alongside her U18 commitments. In 2024, Shannon started her college education while playing for Varsity 9 Academy. She is now a regular first-team player for the Dunstable Town Women.

Kiera is a talented and adaptable footballer who began her journey in boys' football before joining her first girls' team at the age of 12. As one of the promising football team players, she possesses innate skills and a remarkable personality, combining fierce determination with a cheerful disposition. This young player is now part of the Dunstable Town Women, and she undoubtedly has a bright future ahead in the women's football squad.

Gemma Darvill is a highly experienced footballer, boasting a remarkable 26-year career distinguished by her physical prowess, outstanding cardiovascular endurance, and strategic acumen on the field. Primarily positioned as a right back, her adaptability enables her to effectively fill various roles across the pitch as needed. Known for her no-nonsense defensive style, Gemma skillfully combines robust tackling with insightful game awareness, consistently demonstrating an ability to read the match with precision. Throughout her career, she has played for esteemed clubs including Arsenal Academy, Queens Academy, Chesham, and Wootton, and most recently represented Dunstable Town Women. Following a brief hiatus to welcome her son, Hudson, she returns to the game with him as her most enthusiastic supporter, attending every match to cheer her on as she competes alongside other talented football team players in the women's football squad.

Megan began playing football at the age of eight with Stevenage Borough, progressing from the U10s through to the U18s and winning multiple competitions along the way. She became a national champion with her team three years in a row at St George’s Park, scoring the winning goal in the FA People’s Cup final, broadcast live on the BBC.

She has represented Hertfordshire Schools, captained Bedfordshire ACC, and is technically strong on the ball, confident under pressure, and intelligent in her decision‑making.

Our club captain and steadfast central midfielder, Ella Rothwell, began her youth football journey at the age of 10. She subsequently played for Aston University from 2019 to 2022 before joining Dunstable Town Women in 2022, where she showcased her talents over the course of three seasons in Tiers 5 and 6 alongside other football team players. We are thrilled to have her as part of our women's football squad at Dunstable Town.

Darcy is a dedicated central midfielder who has been active in Eastern Region Women’s Football since the age of 16. While she has spent most of her career with AFC Dunstable, she has now transitioned with the team to Dunstable Town Women. She began her football journey at 10 years old, playing for her grassroots team, and has also represented the Bedfordshire Schools Academy. Now one of the more experienced players in the women's football squad, Darcy contributes her valuable insights and skills to both the team and every match. We are excited to announce the signing of Elizabeth Aylward-Hill, known as Elz, who joins the Dunstable Town Women with an impressive breadth of experience despite her young age. Her background includes stints at St. Albans City Youth, West Ham, Hertfordshire School County, Stevenage, and Dunstable Lionesses U18. Elz is a dynamic and technically skilled midfielder who thrives in competitive situations. Her creativity and proficiency in ball movement set her apart, making her a valuable addition to the women's football squad. She is also versatile enough to excel in various positions on the field. Bailey has joined Dunstable Town Women this season after transferring from Luton Town Ladies. Her football journey began at the MK Dons Women’s RTC Academy, where she played from under-10s to under-16s. After a brief return to grassroots football, she caught the attention of Luton Town while competing against them, and she moved up to their senior team as soon as she turned 16. A naturally right-footed player, Bailey is also adept with her left foot and possesses remarkable speed, making her a versatile winger or an effective makeshift striker within the women's football squad. Emily started playing football at the age of 8 and joined the England talent pathway at 9 with MKDONS RTC. By 13, Emily was with BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY ACC and represented Bedfordshire county school teams at both U14 and U16 levels. Throughout her youth, the talented midfielder played for clubs such as Leighton United, Leighton Park Rangers, Leighton Woodside, and Real Bedford, and had guest appearances for Aylesbury and Luton Celtic, participating in both girls' and mixed teams. In the last season, Emily transitioned to adult football and joined Dunstable Town Women, contributing to their women's football squad. Her preferred position is Central Defensive Midfielder, while she least enjoys playing as a Striker. Emily has a twin brother named Jack. In October 2022, Emily was diagnosed with epilepsy, but it hasn’t hindered her involvement or performance in football. She is passionate about raising awareness of epilepsy, particularly in the football community, to ensure it is understood and not met with discrimination at any level.
